![]() Obviously, this kind of defeats the purpose of alerts lol. There seems to be some sort of bug in the repair/regenerate function which causes it to not regenerate all of the alert images. There are still thumbnails present for each clip, but that's only one per day per camera. I now have only 796 bvr files (a far cry from over 300k files I used to have). To troubleshoot, I've now offloaded all clips before April 2017. The alert images are essential, as I switched from using separate files per motion trigger to one bvr file per day (for the reason explained above, too many files). Anyway, I did a repair/regenerate to fix the database, and since then I find that all of the alert images before 5/14 are missing. Recordings that trigger motion and sound.Okay, so Blue Iris's database got corrupted (in fairness, I had well of 300k clips from 15 cameras going back 9 months).Receive notifications by e-mail, text message or phone.Run Blue Iris as a Windows service so that only you have control over its behavior on a shared PC.Receive notifications via speakerphone, email, instant messages, voice call (with auto redial) or external programs / scripts.Images can be taken as JPEG images, MPEG movies, or Windows Media movies (full version) Fairly new to Blueiris and not wanting to set up anything too complicated.Use timer to determine when the system is equipped.Overlay the current date / time as well as logos or other information.Basically, all you have to do is right click on: 1. ![]() It says the alerts folder will remain empty unless you have asked for HI-res alert images on the record tab in camera setting. Forget about BVR for now, thats a special case addressed below. ![]() If the referenced clip is no longer available on your system, the alert JPEG itself is displayed if saved to disc. If you open an alert snapshot, the clip that contains the alert event is opened in the viewer window. Examples of this are in the screenshots below. Notifications are grouped per camera, and can be collapsed/expanded to view the notifications within each group.
